Deferred RevealNFTs mint to collectors immediately with the pre-reveal artwork. When ready, the creator uses exactly two transactions: prepare/freeze the currently minted set, then request verified randomness. Reveal finishes automatically. Verified randomness is requested automatically in the mint transaction and the placeholder reveals automatically — no collector or creator follow-up transaction. Crisp placeholder rendering

PNG, WEBP, JPG, and GIF placeholders stay in their compressed native format and render with pixelated nearest-neighbor scaling inside the onchain SVG. Native SVG stays vector. Larger raster dimensions are allowed too, provided the final embedded placeholder remains within the current 22 KB onchain fragment limit.

Verified randomness

Forge Reveal requests verified randomness automatically after ownership is created. The Collection uses its reveal balance first and may use only an allowed bounded Reserve shortfall.

Technical breakdown

FORGE RANDOMNESS POLICY
Forge batch window policy: 30 seconds (platform managed). Maximum randomness cost per reveal request/group: 0.005 ETH (platform managed). Adaptive consumer callback gas: 1 NFT = 400k; 2–4 = 550k; 5–10 = 900k; 11–15 = 1.15M; 16–20 = 1.4M. Mints above 20 NFTs split into independent groups of at most 20. NFT ownership is still minted immediately and automatic reveal randomness is requested in the mint transaction.

Holder render switchingLet NFT owners switch their token between the canonical fully-onchain SVG and an offchain presentation render served by RelicForge Cloud. Default displayThe onchain SVG always remains the canonical renderer. A holder can always switch back to it.

Cached display

Optional cached presentation renders are derived from the canonical onchain artwork. The onchain collection data remains authoritative regardless of the selected display mode.
